Services to be done for 30,000 miles
Hi All,
I have 2016 Honda Civic Sedan on which I have clocked 32,000 miles. Still no popup in Maintenance Minder though. Dealer says "maintenance and services" need to be done as and when minder pops out the service code.
Couple of other Honda official dealers say: a big list - from replacing transmission fluid, brake, spark plugs, air filter and inspecting a number of things. The price of the service (quote) ranging from $480 - $620. Have any of you get this 30K service done recently for Honda Civic? OR any idea of actual service codes or list that need to be done at 30K?
Appreciate any suggestion in this regard.
Thank you.

welcome to the forum. yes the list is long, but if the car is under warranty and you are having the dealer do the normal work due on your civic, it will cost about the amount you have stated. as long as the car is under warranty, the work needs to be taken care of. if you google 2016 civic 30k mile check, it will come up for you to view. if you know how to do some of the work, brake rotors and pads, or brake linings and drum change, cabin filter, engine filter, brake fluid change, you will be able to save a lot of money, if you don't know how to do these things, let the dealer service dept do it and the warranty will be good until you obtain the 3 year, 36k mile standard warranty also 5 year rust warranty. if you don't know how to do maintenance, after the warranty is up, you can find a good reliable shop to do the work at a lesser cost. talked to all your friends who own cars and see who does their auto maintenance. but keep record of all the maintenance done in a folder/note book so the shop can see if anything needs to be done can be done.
