93 Accord NO HEAT!!! HELP!!
About a week ago my 93 accord lx heat just stopped working. Then about a day afterwords it overheated.I flushed the radiator and filled it with 50/50 and the overheaating stopped (so far) I replaced the thermostat but yet the heat still doesent work. Also the car idles erractically from high to low and it does the same even while i am in motion. I know those are alot of problems but i just want to know if anyone knows if they are correlated and how to fix them (seperately or together)

welcome to the forum. Check your heater control valve to see if it operates should be under the hood, passenger side, near the firewall area, see if this operates while someone in the cabin turns it for you. Also it could be the spool behind the instrument panel that is not turning. Has the temp **** ever get hard to turn. Also if you have air in the system, you need to bleed the air from the bleed air port. Go to autozone.com and fill in the info and its for free, repair. air in your rad system will cause idle to go up and down. If you go to hondaautomotiveparts.com you can go to the parts pages and find the bleed port.

hey thanks for the ideas. Heater control valve works fie though and all the **** are ok inside. we flushed the whole radiator and still no heat. The heater hoses are both cold while the car is on and warmed up. Do you have an idea why this is happening?
