Have an unusual problem that I cant find any references to on the web. Hoping someone here can help me. My problem is with the Driver's side window. It goes up and down just find, including auto down. However, when the window is raised, it goes all the way up and then "jackhammers" until the switch is released. Why wont it just stop when it gets to the top. All the other windows in the car work fine.

 

Welcome to the forum,not sure I have ever heard of this problem,mostly the regulators wear and get loose over time. I would take the panel off and watch what happens inside when the window is raised to the top,it may be as simple and a loose nut. Good luck,Bobby
