OK I'm going to fiberglass kick panels in my 96 Civic EX thusI need to move the ECU to a different location. I tried to move it into the glove compartment by lengthening the wires (crimping :S), but found out that that wouldn't work. I then uncrimped the wires, soldered and heat shrunk them back to nearly original length (had to increase the length of some that were stripped too much) and just velcro'ed it under the passenger dash. Well now I have a problem, everything else seems to work OK, but the CD player won't turn on. Are there any wires in the ECU that constitute the power of the CD player, do you think I blew a fuse somewhere... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
