Red face clutch or c/v axle?

Hello, First time user to this forum.
I have a 86 Accord that ran great. 120k miles and just changed upper lower ball joints steering pump and rack. Now when I make u-turns the c/v joints click loud (with small leak from c/v were it meets the trans.) and also the clutch may be slipping? When i am in 1st the car vibrates when taking off and the RPM's in 4th and 5th go real high and the speed stays about the same? The shifting between gears seems good though?
Help. Jason

The CV clicks are common in the old dogs. Best to just leave them alone. Most cars the axles will click for years without failure. If you want to replace them, buy aftermarket, no sense putting Honda money into a car that old. As far as the leak, odds are the axles shaft seals are torn or worn, and are leaking all the time.
If the car has a bad clutch slip, more than likely the flywheel has been "blued". Or in other words, heat has hardened the steel. This would cause a chatter when taking off from stops. Sounds like the car needs a new clutch. Another item I highly recommend going to Auto Zone for. A clutch kit for that car would probably run ya about 100 bucks, maybe 125.
