Compression
Hello, HF Members.
I have a 98 hatch with type r b18c5 turbo. I had new low compression pistons and rings. The head is stock. I bolt the them together with new head gasket and arp bolts. Here is the problem when I bolt back the the camshaft then the engine got no compression. Looks like all the air leak through the Ehaust valves. I took the Exhaust camshaft out and there's compression. What could it be the problems?

RE: Compression
welcome to the forum, with your head off and there is no leak through the valves with a fluid leak check. bolting the cam in place, the timing if not correct. at top dead center the lower surface of the cam should be over the valve to close the valve, check the timing of the cam with the manual to see if the cam is set correctly.all valves should be closed at top dead center.
