Default engine compression

i have a 93 honda accord and i was testing the piston compression and in piston 1 it said it was 90 psi on 2 it said 85 psi in 3 it said 90 psi and in 4 it said 90 psi. Anyone know why number 2 is at 85? Some people say that it might be a bent valve. Could that be it or could it be worn piston rings or something like that.

It can be one of the following, carbon on either valves, weak compression rings, sticking valves, rocker adjustment to tight (keeping valve open slightly) If you do acompressed air leak check, you can hear if the air is coming from the intake, exhaust, or into the crank case.

When was your last tune up, plugs, wires, etc? Does it lope at higher rpm"sor smooth out, If you disconnect your battery cable for a shot time and rehook it up, and drive down to a parts shop that has an obd tester, they may find out what is going on with the engine.Call first to see if it is done for free. Some parts places do this as a service to find codes.
