Default Faulty Distributor

Can anyone advise if a TD31U 1990 Accord distributor be serviced. My accord has power to the distributor but does not deliver a spark.

Is there a common fault with these units please?

Regards

Ricardo

Take you distributor cap off (3 8mm bolts)Inspect the rotor for any hot spots or holes also check the contacts inside the distributor cap make sure there not damaged. If thats okay check the coil.If thats okay u need to check the ICM (ignitoin control module) I've seen those go bad but not to often a coil can usually fix the problem.
