Default Ignition Question

My car just started acting up a few days ago. The car starts fine with the turn of the ignition but when i go to shut it off I can remove the key from the ignition but the car continues to run for approx, 45 seconds then shuts off. I also realized today that if i shut it off while rolling it will shut off immediately. Appreciate any incite!!!

I finally figured it out last night. The guy i bought the car from had installed a turbo timer and it was in my glove box and buttons must have gotten pressed and set it on 30 seconds.

if you have a turbo on your engine, you need to keep the engine at idle for a few minutes after a hot run, or you will coke up your oil bearings in the turbo due to high heat. This would be after a good long run. If mostly at idle around town and a slow drive to the home, the turbo will not be so hot. Still need to cool the turbo off for min coke of the bearings.
