I have a 2001 honda civic ex manual trans. that's running a random misfire code. Along with post on one two three and four. I have changed the sparkplugs, visual checked coil packs, resistance checked the fuel injectors. I don't want to go to a shop. Before I changed the spark plugs it idled a bit choppy but now I noticed a big difference in response power and torque. My honda seems to drive fine just every now and again the engine will struggle to keep up for a min when accelerating from stopped position. Also every so often the acceleration will be inconsistent or "stringy" when driving in town but it's so little you can't tell as a passenger. It only has issues on low rpm' s anything over 2500 it seems to operate like any other car. This code can be a pain in the *** to diagnose. I'm pretty good with cars but maybe all you fine people could help a bit. I have not done a compression or vacume check timing check fuel pressure check feel free to ask for more info. I'm sure theirs something I'm forgetting lol thanks everyone.

 

Welcome to the forum. Also check icu and clean it. Mass air sensor. And plug wires for condition.
