welcome to the forum. I have seen from 1500 to 3500 depending on what you want done to your engine and what shop you take it to. general run of the mill shop in Ontario CA. I see 1500 engine installed ( R&R) with 1 yr warranty. Call repair shops, and check ebay, and get a dealers new engine or their rebuilt engine price. Also there are honda only shops that do nothing but honda engines. they are pretty good.
