Running Lights???
I have a 2001 Honda Civic EX Coupe...are the running lights just for looks or are they supposed to work? (Mine don't)...Should I replace the bulb? And is it easier just to take out the headlight since the space is so tight? Thanks,
Austin

RE: Running Lights???
running lights within the headlights, I have a 2002 honda civic ex and I was also trying to figure that out. Yes, you have to take the front bumper clip off to get the head light out. Once its out, you put the headlight on a baking pan and stick it in the oven and heat it up, then you take 2 clips that are on the top off and pry the plastic lens off (seal to be workable when heated) then when you put the new bulb in, then heat it up again and put it back together. Pain in the arch ain it? if you can figure out another way by going through the headlight hole and getting the bulb out, i m all ears. let me know, Jason

to change running lights on the front, I went through the wheel well and stuffed my arms between the plastic and fender ( removed attach points holding the plastic to fender ) its a little difficult but ok

RE: Running Lights???
I'm asking this too because I'm thinking about putting in an HID kit and wondering if it would be easier to work with the headlights taken off so there would be no worries about rubbing a bulb against something ruining it.
