Trouble starting 2014 Honda Civic
Over the past couple of weeks when turning my key to start my car it sometimes (not always) won't turn over but all, but all the lights are on. Total silence when, I turn off the key and try again - sometimes it works but sometimes it takes a couple of tries. The other thing is I can go several days and it works fine. Any ideas, battery maybe. I had this checked a few months back during regular maint but they can go anytime I guess.

Intermittent no crank, no start can be due to corrosion on the battery posts or cable terminals.
Before spending money one a new battery, try cleaning the battery posts and cable terminals with a wire brush.
Follow negative cable to chassis ground and clean the contact points.
Check the battery for 12 volts. Load test the battery.
Can you see where the starter solenoid is? Can you reach in there with a wire?
Putting 12 volts to the solenoid terminal should crank the engine.
Other than the battery is the ignition switch on the back of the ignition lock can sometimes go bad.
