Default '03 Accord LX oxygen sensor...

I just went by Autozone and checked my OBDII code - (P0141) - which is the downstream (from the Cal. Converted) oxygen sensor. Can someone tell me where sensor is and how to replace it?

welcome to the forum celoftis: enjoy your stay, http://HondaAutomotiveParts.com go to the parts catalog, and type in your info, go to exhaust pipe. part 31 is the aft oxygen sensor. 16 is the forward sensor. If you pick up an after market sensor, be aware that the light may come back on in a couple of months, or less.

Thanks acmech52.

So, would it be best if I purchased the part from the dealer? Any suggestions on where to get dealer quality parts?

Ok, it was http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/... thanks for the info.

One of the fill boxes is "Emission and Transmission Type :" I'm not sure what type my car has. I tried all three options avaiable, the price is the same for two of thwse types (KA5AT, KA5MT) @ $60.27 but much higher for type KL5AT @ $190.77. I assume the "5AT" means 5 speed automatic xmission - but what does KA vs KL mean?

Looking at the diagram looks like that's parts 17 & 22 but I can't tell which one is downstream from the converter - thoughts?

Also, I mis-typed eariler - its an '03 accord not an '04. Other info: 4DR LX.

Thanks for your help - btw, your fruit is showing.

BTW, I think you've got it backwards here... isn't KA=49 states and KL=California?
