Default 07 Starter/Solenoid issue ?

I'm new to this forum so bear with me. My 07 Accord has a problem (intermittent) starting. When I turn the key it will start to turn over then make a buzzing/clicking sound, sometimes it will crank, sometimes you have to turn the key again and then it cranks fine. Doesn't do this on every start up but seems to be more frequent now.

My initial guess is a starter or solenoid problem, any help and/or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Hey man,

i had the same problem with my 07 accord v6. Sometimes it would start and other times it didnt, just make a clicking sound. So, the times that the starter would not crank, i went old school and had someone turn my ignition a few time while i tapped the starter with small hammer or wrench. This worked for about 2 weeks until it just wouldnt start at all. Then i went to AutoZone and bought a refurbished starter with a life time warranty. Took me 1 hour to install it and now it starts up better than ever.

Gonna do mine tonight, video I watched says to remove the battery and battery plate to get to it, is this what you had to do?

sorry for the late response, but yeah i had to remove the battery and plate. the hard part was to remove the bolt just below the starter. that took me 30 minutes to remove.
