Default 2017 Honda Accord Sport. Light roaring noise and...

This is my daughter's car. I thought it sounded like a wheel bearing but after jacking the car up none of the bearings have any slop in them and turn easily with no noise. I also noticed when letting off the gas it slows down faster than it should. Almost feels like the breaks are slightly engaging. Brakes look fine, emergency brake is not engaged and all four tires spin freely. Transmission?? Kinda has me stumped at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated.

welcome to the forum. Honda came out with a grade logic control. when going down hill, no brake or gas pedal applied and speed is rising, grade logic comes into play, engine rpm revs up and slows the vehicle a bit. only way to tell is if you are paying attention to the engine rev and vehicle slowing on its own.

Well, looks like it could be ...
A bunch of things but none show up right now
So, maybe a little time is needed before it fails enough to detect??

I've noticed in my new to me 2014 Accord V6 that when cruise is engaged and i coast downhill that the transmission downshifts to maintain speed.
