got a '94 accord making a repeating thumping sort of noise when in drive, not while braking or in reverse. perhaps something with my brakes is causing this? The noise is very significant, when i first heard it on the highway i thought it was a flat! Any idea what this might be??

 

possible bubble on the tire. jack up the front or back and rotate your tire looking and feeling the tire. make sure you have jackstands and block the wheels to prevent rolling or falling on you.

 

I think its better to take our car to the local mechanic shop and get it checked.
