Default Accord Starting Problems

So i just got this 2001 vtec 2.3l honda accord sedan. The thing is, sometimes i would drive for 30 minutes and the car would start just fine if i try to turn it on. But sometimes when i drive for only 2 minutes but also as before even longer than 30 minutes the car wont start. When i turn the key all the way nothing happens, no crank nothing.
It happens most often if i drive under 15 minutes.
A car shop has not been able to identify the problem but they thought it was the battery cables.

Anyone have any experience?

Welcome to the forum. Check for condition of main relay. Check distributor coil for burn spots. Burn or failing coil will cause eng no start after initial run.

Hey! Thanks alot. Ive heard that the main relay could be the problem but i told that to the car mechanics and they said there was no possible way. I will have a look at all these things, thank you!
