Question Aftermarket trunk struts for auto-open?

Our 2003 Accord automatically opens the trunk, but our 2013 accord opens only slightly, requiring a free hand to open it the rest of the way.
I found that I can use Jeep struts in my Tesla Model 3 to fully open its trunk. Is there an aftermarket strut for the '13 Accord that does the same?

(See
for video about Tesla struts discovery)

Welcome in, I guess the same way you found out that jeep struts work on the T ,I would maybe add an inch or two to the length or find out from the parts counter if there is a stronger strut. On my 16 it only opens an inch or so but I don't find it a problem. Good luck on your Quest.
