Am I asking too much from my 07 Accord w/245K?
I have a 2007 Honda Accord that has about 245K on it.
I was in an accident and the insurance totaled it (3080 Damages) but they will not report it to the state so it will not have a salvage title on it.
They will let me keep it at at a salvage value buy back cost of 1129.00 dollars.
Frame is not bent.
It was hit in the rear but still runs.
I needs struts and I is consuming a little oil with a little rod knock in it.
Actually I am still driving is some.
Now it has about 245K on it.
If I keep and drive it I would have to do minimum body repair to the trunk lid and replace the crash bar
I would have to replace three worn struts.
Now should I take the cash and dump it or keep the car as ask for more miles out of it?
Thank you,

welcome to the forum. with a mild rod knock, drive the car till it dies you got a good price for it, great miles. then sell it to the junk yard for 250 or more, drive in gets more, or sell it to a young person as a 1st car.
