backfire? Loss of power.
Okay, i have a 2009 accord exl v6 6 spd.
I cut the pipes off all the way past both resonators to prep to put on new pipes with an after market muffler. But as of now i am nearly straight piped... When i give it full throttle in 1st 2nd and sometimes 3rd it bogs down and i lose power and then it revs in and out is this because of the low back pressure or another issue? Perhaps my plugs or fuel grade? It never did this untill after the pipes were removed. Please help.

welcome to the forum. if you are at full throttle and revs up in the redline area, it is an auto high rpm cut off. Honda did not want their customers to blow their engines by over rev of the engine. ( you would have already lost your engine in 1st gear )
