check your wiring to make sure nothing is shorted. Could be the 2 way valve or purge solenoid or maybe even the ECU. With the car not under warranty the Ecu can be upwards to 600 dollars. Basically make sure all plumbing is good and all electrical and mechanical components work. Gonna need a DMM(Digital Multimeter) to test the wirings. Look for bad insulation. Tip of the Day: (this may not pertain to you but still a wonderful tip) Never Top Off Your Gas Tank! Topping of your gas tank can destroy your Charcoal Canister which takes harmful gases and makes it less harmful. Anyways, most gas tanks are built to be filled 90% full to contain the gases and topping off will force liquid gasoline into the charcoal canisters and not air. Which is my #1 reason why charcoal canisters fail prematurely. Very, very common to have them last the life of the vehicle. Happy Getting down and dirty. recommend Alldata to help troubleshoot and fix the problem. shhh my little secret.
