My wife mentioned to me that her 2009 Accord has a strange metallic sound upon initial startup in the morning. This morning I started it and immediately noticed a sound of detonation for 1-2 seconds. I told her I will resolve to find out why. It only does it first thing, and does not repeat later on in the day.


Not understanding Honda issues, I thought I would ask the experts. If on car does it......then another car does it too.
