Hi Guys,

Just bought an 87 accord LX and wondering if you can give me some info.

I want to know if the brake pads and calipers are universal. Trying to figure out if the ones from a late-80's Civic are the same shape/size as those for my car.

welcome to the forum. 86-89 can be interchanged. If you go to autozone.com, register for free, you can get parts info and costs, also repair information. I have called salvage yards and they have given me info as to what years parts works on the cars I have.
