Front end clank
Hello Honda Folks,
I have a 1999 Honda Accord EX 4 cylinder 2 door with 135,000 miles. When I go over a bump it makes a sharp clanking sound near the driver side front tire. I jacked it up grabbed the wheel and everything is tight. When I drive it (Over 80+) there is no vibration whatsoever. This is my first front wheel drive car so I’m very unfamiliar with the front end. Any ideas?
Thanks

hey guys, funny i have that problem on my 92, i think it has something to do with the brake pads not sitting properly or basically just not being original honda parts. Does it not do the clanking noise when u brake when going over the bump?
welcome new members to the forum. check your stabilizer bar bushings, check lower control arm bushings for excessive ware or missing. Check your shock towers to besure they are secure and not floating or loose.
