I've been seriously considering purchasing a 00-02 Accord sometime in the very near future-

I've seen two that I like, but I think the price is too high on both- let me know if I'm mistaken:

*first option: 01 accord, silver 2dr coup v6, 151k miles, leather interior listed for $5,500. I'd like to pay $4,000 for it, sounds like the catalytic converter needs to be replaced.

**second option: '02 accord, also silver 2 dr coupe with 108k miles, leather interior listed for $6,900, but the VERY LOWEST that guy is willing to sell for is $6,000. Wanted to pay 5k, but he will not budge on price. Seems to be in excellent condition.



Are either of these worth it??? If so, which?


I desperately need a car like yesterday, so I'll be making some sort of purchase soon...

Just for info, 98-02 accord ( same generation ) do have transmission problems, might want to look this up on the Honda recall/service bulletin sites.
