Default Lock is stuck.

Bad day. I noticed that my key was getting harder to push into the driver side door, so I got some lubrcating spray oil and the little extender tube got stuck inside the keyhole. I couldn't pull it out by hand so I got the plyers and it broke off in there. Damn it!!! Any advise? 2004 accord.

Well I was able to get the plastic tube out but the lock is still stuck.

suggest taking the lock out and taking it to a lock smith to clean out or fix, or you may have to get a new lock with a new key. or go to a salvage yard and get all door locks w/key to replace.

You can try going to the dealer to get a match lock cylinder for you bad doorlock.

You can replace the cylinder without replacing the doorlock assembly.

I believe you will get a new key with the new lock cylinder as well.

Try dealer first, if not available then you can carry (2) keys or get all matching locksets from a junker.

Good Luck!
