NON-WORKING Power Door Locks
I own a 1998 4 dr Honda Accord EX. My rear doors no longer lockvia the power system (key nor remote). I have to manually lock them. Is there a fuse that manages this feature? If so, where can I locateand how can I change?

RE: NON-WORKING Power Door Locks
I have had the same problem with my 99 Accord. I dismantled the door to find out the Power door lock actuators weren’t working properly, so I tested the actuators manual come to find out it switches once in awhile when it felt like it. Purchased a new one and had no problem ever since.

RE: NON-WORKING Power Door Locks
I have the same problem with a 2000 Civic. I have to lock all doors manually. There's no remote just the inside switch to lock all doors or the key. Did you get the lock actuator from the dealer or somewhere else? What did it cost and is there a post anywhere on disasssembling the door and replacing that part? Thanks for any help you can give.

RE: NON-WORKING Power Door Locks
I got my lock from eBay, Cheaper than the dealer. Instruction on disassembling the door and replacing that part though depend on you. Because I disassembled piece by piece that way when it came time to put back together I knew where it went. But if you need detailed instruction you can purchase a repair manual for your car at any auto parts store for under $25.00. Trust me I purchased one and its help full.
