*I can change my car's air filter easily but I have not (yet) changed my in-cabin air filters. At some point I will have to do that.

**If nothing else, once I figure out what part you need, I could get it for you in USA and ship it to you, if you'd pay for the part and the shipping. I would charge nothing in payment and show you receipts for everything. People have done that for me so I would certainly do it for someone else.

What year is your car? (Model year)? What year was your car made? There should be a placard (sticker) on the driver's side door rocker panel. *Open driver's side door, there should be a white sticker on the frame of the car right where the closed door would hide it. There should be a month and year date on the upper right hand corner of the sticker.

Also the owner's manual (book) should say what year the car is.

Take a picture of your car and circle the part where that thing goes *I assume it's a cabin filter but I want to make sure.* Post the picture to this thread.

If I cannot find it in a junkyard (auto dismantling) I will buy a new one and you can pay me with paypal.

I will consider it an honor to help a friend that lives so far away!
OK!
I am now far from the car and am on a business trip in the Caucasus.
I will only be home in Moscow after September 10.
But I have with me a VIN car code 1HGCM72603A026562 year of production 2003 engine 2.4

OK man, it's in Russian! OK....should have expected that but I see the "2003."

Monday I have to go over to the nearby city so I will stop by the Honda dealership and speak with their parts department. I will ask if they carry that part and at what price. It's going to be much faster for me to buy it for you there rather than hit up a junkyard.

I will then figure out shipping costs and tell you via this site.

Private message me your mailing address so I can get the shipping cost figured out.

part looks to be the cabin filter carrier. holds the filter in place, not the cabin filter.

"Cabin filter carrier"? Thanks. I will ask about it for a 2003 Accord on Monday. I wonder if engine size matters? I know it's a coupe.

A little more news: found a few wrecked 2003 Accords on Craigslist. One guy messaged me back. I'll check prices on a new filter tray tomorrow at the dealership. It will probably be easier to just buy it there as the wrecked Accords are pretty far away.

I'll get measurements on the piece and check with shipping options. What is your address so I can figure out shipping costs?

Accordo! I went back to the dealership and they said they can get that part for $24.00 US.

Tomorrow, I will be over to town again so I will try and get a shipping quote.
