Technician forgot to "reset" after oil change
Sounds to me like the Tech just missed that step. As someone posted, check the manual, easy to do.
I have a related, but different question regarding that maintenance setting. We are retired and also have a spare 2nd vehicle, and except for that occasional not too far beach road trip, we do not put all that many miles on our 2023 Accord Sport Hybrid, just around 3,000 per year, and that full synthetic should be good for 7,500 to 10,000. I'd be happy going 6,000 (Two years).
Now after the first 3,000 after an oil change, would it affect our warranty negatively both the basic, and drive train warranty, it I did a REST at 3,000, go another 3,000, getting at least 6,000 before oil changes???
