Default timing belt needed?

For a 1996 Accord LX station wagon, does it need the timing belt done at 60k miles? The car is currently at 70k miles and not sure if the car had it done before.. the car was bought at 59k miles.
I know some other cars such as nissans, you need to do it.

honda recommends 60-90k or 72 months. depending on temp conditons of -20 or 110+, take the cover off and view the belt conditon, or have a tech view for advise.

acmech52 is right on. you can have it inspected for damage (cracks, etc) then you can decide if it has been, or needs to be replaced. if it hasnt, i would definitely recommend it.
