Default Water pump replacement

I got Aisin water pump and the gasket that came with it seems a bit thinner and skinnier than the original gasket. It is really hard to show it in a picture...
Is it OK as is, or put 3M weatherstrip adhesive or RTV between the pump and the gasket? Then a little bit will come out to the surface to seal it better. Please help.

Install it with the gasket that came with it. if you torque it correctly it will not leak.

Oh, man... I did not notice your reply. I put small amount of permatex ultra grey. Hoefully no problem. Thank you, though.
