Smile What is causing my slow acceleration?!?!?!Plz Help

Whaddup Hondaforum i dont kno much about cars so im on here hopefully to get sum good advise. i bought a 99 honda accord coupe with 190 thousand miles on it...motor ran hard n accelerated very quickly! the bearing started to go so i got a used 02 accord motor dropped n wit 78 thousand miles. its doesnt accelerate as quick as the other n doesnt pull as hard?!?! takes a long time 2 get 2 70mph when my motor wit 190 thousand miles hit 70 n a breeze.... can anybody time me a possible reason y its not accelerating as fast?!?!?! thx TyszAccord145

welcome to the forum. when you changed engine did you bleed the coolant system? did you check the timing, did you tune the engine up? was the ecu reset if needed ? Did you do a compression check of the engine? Is the engine you put in the identical to the one that you changed.

what he said ^^^^^^ not all engine are the same meaning how they were used or if they were beaten on.... if you catch my drift
