1998 civic Timing Belt replacement
I'm trying to replace my timing belt on my 1998 civic LX, but I haven't had any luck removing the crankshaft bolt. I'm turning counterclockwise to remove it. My 6 inch extension on the socket to my cheater bar snapped. My question is this, 'is the crankshaftbolt suppose to come out when I turn counterclockwise or clockwise?'. Any help will be appreciated. You could email me at prieto_3@msn.com.[&o]
heres what goin on the thing has that loctite on it. hers what i did i took to my buddies shop and he had to heat it up and impact it off then snug itback down so you can make it whereever you need to get it. instead of a cheater bar which i think is a breaker bar i used the emergency lug tool wich is 19 mm also and its alot thicker but ifu can use an impact use it have fun and while ur down there replace the water pump its a bitch to get it all taken apart so take advantage
