Hi Everyone, I just got my first car which is a 2002 Honda Civic and it's running great!

But I was wondering where I could purchase one of those fancy flip up/switch blade keys that could be made compatible for my car?

Is it possible to do this?

If so, Where would I go to think about purchasing one?


Does anyone know if I bought this would I be able to use it after set up?

fist thing is your car has an immobiliser system so after the new key is cut it has to be reprogrmed at a honda dealership from anywhere between $50-$100 dollars depending on the dealer not including the cut which will cost the same. also i would be concerned about the quality of a non oem product key regarding the Transponder chip embedded in the key if that goes bad your going to be stranded were ever you are and be out of the cost of the key,cut and reprogram. also remember if you do get a new key to bring all your spare keys because the Reprogram changes happen at the ecu. if i was in the market for something like this i would get this http://mykeyport.com/
