2009 Civic - Won't Start Unless Steering Wheel is Moved
Hi,
As noted in the title...the car won't start unless you "jiggle" the steering wheel...pulling it left and right. Sometimes this take 3 or 4 times to work. The car sounds like it is trying to start but it won't kick over. The car is in Park...we don't touch that to try to start the car. Battery is good....never sounds weak. Keys all work. I changed the ignition switch module on the left side of wheel. Did not fix it. My questions are:
1) I am guessing there is some kind of steering wheel ignition lockout switch somewhere that is causing the problem? If so, how do I replace it.
2) Could the be a problem with the actual ignition lock module on the right? Would replacing that do the trick?
Thanks,
Beerski
