1996 civic ex, I bought the car in june 06 ran fine till bout december then i put on a k & n filter and my gas mileage has gone down to about 15 to 20/mpg and before the filter it was 30 - 35/mpg and i have no idea what is wrong i changed the oil and oil filter i put in some oil treatment. and nothin is helpin it.

You might want to check the spark plugs and maybe just clean that filter quick. See if that works.
