My sons 93 civic was running great until today when he was driving around 40 mph when it all of a sudden started stuttering and eventually stopped running? He had to have it pushed a few hundred feet around a corner....car has 190k miles on it and always maintained by previous owner. I checked for spark-good. I checked the outlet of the fuel filter-good but not sure if that means it's ok? Air filter is new. plugs and wires all look pretty new....I am mechanically inclined and want to avoid taking it to a mechanic if at all possible. Any other things I should try or possibilities?

 

Welcome to the forum,My first thought was fuel pump,take a fuel line loose and turn her over if you have fuel then we can move on.
