neeed help people any ideas on compression ........... high comp low boost or high boost low comp

 

Welcome to the forum mickeyp, enjoy your stay,hope we might be able to help. Boost, on a diesel engine, boost with high compression, on a gas engine, generally high boost, low compression. What are you trying to boost? If you have high boost on a high compression gas engine, your fuel octane will need to be a lot better than pump gas. Such as a formula 1 engine, boost is up to 35-45 psi, and the engine produces up to 800 hp.(engines are short in life ) running on methanol fuel
