Default Honda Civic-NEED HELP

Okay so i think i want to buy this car so can someone tell me if ts as good as it sounds. the price i $5500 is it worth that? Below is what the seller is saying about it

Hey testing the water, have a civic coupe turbo tuned/dyno pushing almost 300 horse power but wantd to stay at 10 psi cause drive it to work. The guy who tuned it said its capable of going over 300 with the mods on it now just have to turn the boost up.

never buy a modified car you have no idea how well everything was put together. that motor could blow then your screwed. not to mention some of the cheap components they have listed.

I agree with lowlife since modified cars can be money squeezers even if they seem irresistible. Also if the quality of the aftermarket parts are not good, they might do serious damage which will be a pain. I would always go for a stock car and modify it according to my taste (if the need be). If you really need this ride, consider negotiating the price and take an expert to check it out thoroughly.
