how hard to change non vtech to vtech

i have a d16 vtech that is knocking real bad i have a chance to get a good deal on a non vtech motor is the head all i have to change or is there more? any help would be good help

it is not that hard as you are thinking.you may be facing few problems but that is not a big deal.
