Hello, I have a 2017 Civic Si, and about 2 months ago my car had multiple lights such as brake assist, power steering, and a bunch of other lights. They went away for about a day and then came back for about another day and then went away. About 3 days ago, the lights came back on for a little bit then went away. Today, I was driving, went to pass a truck at about 30 mph in 3rd gear, and the RPMs dropped and my speed was consistently dropping. I tried flooring it, and the car went nowhere. When I pulled over, the check engine light was flashing. Started to drive back home and could only top out at 30 mph, only 9 mph up hill. Check engine went away after letting it idle for a little bit, drove it around my neighborhood, car worked just fine. OBD read cylinder 1 misfire and bank 1 is too lean. Check engine light is no longer on and is driving just fine. Does anyone know what this could be? Has anyone had a similar issue? Thank you in advance.

 

How long since plugs? Mileage?

 

It’s not the plugs cuz that’s not how they would react. I don’t know exactly when they were replaced and the car has about 85,000 miles.

 

Plugs don't cause misfires and poor running issues?
