Default P1362

Hey. I got a code for the P1362 for my 2002 Honda Civic LX but I had already changed the sensor. Car started fine, warmed up, drove around the corner and it just died on me. I checked my battery connections, no dim lights, starter spins, just wont start. Could anything else be causing this code?

welcome to the forum if you are using an aftermarket sensor, it may be the cause of the failure.

Hi! Thanks for the reply. I took it to my dad and by ear he said it was the timing belt. Took it apart and sure enough he was right!

Issue: P1362 code
Caused by broken timing belt, sensor couldn't find TDC

Thank you! It currently has 250,000 miles on it. My uncle has a Scion XB with 600,000 miles on it so I believe I’m in good hands with his and my dad’s advice (:
