I'm looking to buy a Civic and the most I can pull together is $4,000. I live in the SF Bay Area.

What do you guys think about this one? Is it really the transmission needing to be replaced?

I have a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid for sale today - I would be open to a trade for a motorcycle!!! car has 130,000 miles, runs great and saves gas
transmission has started making a horrible noise so I think it needs a tranny.

if you know even alittle about honda its that there tranny's are expensive as sh*t, if it sounds like the tranny might be going dont take the offer.

 

I would rather say that you should wait for a while and earn more so that you can buy a car even better than this.

 

its 2005 the 01-03 had trans problems what i would be worried about is the hybrid battery pack those things are just as expensive to replace.
