Default wont stay running

Have a 94 civic dx. When I go to start it it fires right up but when i let go off the key it turns off.i stil have power after it dies, (the radio and dome light still on). I was thinking ignition but I was read threads on another forum . They Told him if it was the ignition it wouldn't start at all. Need help its my dd thanks

It does sound like a bad switch.

I did some more thinking on this and It's possibly a bad resistor in the coil. To test for sure, you will need to see if you are getting voltage from
the ignition switch when the key is in the run position.
