2019 Super Cub 125CC
The Grandkids hit something with the knee guard, and now the ignition switch will not turn on, it will not engage at all it is straight up and down, in the off position, and will not turn at all. I have 2 of these identical, The knee guard was slightly twisted, and tripping the alarm. I put new battery's in both cubs, and the one works flawless, the other one will not turn the ignition switch. I have disconnected the battery several times thinking it may reset it but still nothing seems to work.
Does anybody have a clue where I should start trouble shooting, possibly unplug the ignition switch, is there a way to reset it or trip it or something? I just ordered the shop manual, but not sure if that will help or not.

usually turning the key all the way to the left and pushing in the key is the handlebar lock when the bars are turned to the left. maybe the bar lock got stuck when they hit something. try pushing in the key and trying to turn the bars at the same time.
