New member here. When I purchased my 2017 CR-V I also purchased the key replacement warranty. The salesman said I could get one free replacement key and fob per year, for 5 years. He said to take advantage of this to get extra keys in case I lose one or damage one after the 5 year warranty expires. So I went to the dealer and they said the keyless entry system only allows 2 keys maximum per vehicle at one time. They said if they order and program a new key it will disable one of the existing keys even if the old key is not at the dealership when they program the new key. I can’t find any information to confirm this so wondered if they were lying to me or if this is in fact true. Thanks!
