Can 04 accord ex 2.4 cat converter work with 06 accord lx 2.4

Hi I have an 06 accord lx with the 2.4 and there is no cat converter. Can I use one from an 04 accord ex 2.4? Also I live in California.

California requires CARB compliant catalytic converters.
Google search came up with this, ...
Be installed only on applications listed in the manufacturer's Vehicle Application Catalog and per CARB's Installation Guidelines.
So, the cat you want to use must be listed for the car.
You might want to search what the CARB installation guidelines are?
