P0108 & P0113 04 Accord Ex
Im ready to blow this car up. Its my daughters car and ive been doing what i can to save her some money. I was taught young to work on a 65 mustang. And what i was taught was pretty basic. So when it comes to the abundance of sensors, i start losing my patience.
anyways, the intake hose looked to be the origianal and the vacuum line nipple was barely hanging on. So i changed the hose. I also cleaned out the TB. After unplugging the IAT?, i realised that one was unnecessary. Unplugged the MAP seemed logical so no wires become damaged. On test drive, the idle smoothed out and felt/sounded much better. However check engine light came on. Connected scanner and p0108 and p0113 are coming up.
Being 20 years old and not much has been swapped out on it, theres an an aweful lot of brittle pieces. (Dropped the oil cap and it shattered). My question is .. what did i break? Lol. Will simply plugging and unplugging the sensors trigger these codes? Or these codes are because of actual damage? Im leaning towards broken wire connection because the brittle protective plastic sheeth around the wires is almost completley broken away. Or should i raise my white flag and get it to the mechanic?
