I have a two thousand ten odyssey, with three hundred thousand miles. It started knocking and running rough last week.I have changed the plugs and the coil packs.Because I had cylinder six and two misfires, my alternator was going bad, and I changed that it's still knocking and running rough, and now it threw a code for p2654 rocker, arm, something but it's knocking really loud.So i'm wondering if the rocker arm broke broke or something. It's also showing a cylinder number six misfire and a cylinder number two misfire and a multiple cylinder misfires. Those are the two coil packs.I replaced because those were the two codes that were showing the first time.Is it possible that it's skipped time? It's the original tommy belt

welcome to the forum. when was the last time your rocker arms were adjusted. this might be the cause of the knocking noise.

Advanced Diagnostics

Advanced Diagnostics - DTC P2654: Rocker Arm Oil Control Solenoid B (Bank 1) Circuit High Voltage

General Description
The variable cylinder management (VCM) system switches the valve timing by opening and closing the oil groove to the cam switching mechanism. The oil groove is opened and closed by the rocker arm oil control solenoid, and the powertrain control module (PCM) controls the VCM system via the rocker arm oil control solenoid. The PCM outputs the driving signal and monitors the PCM output terminal voltage level. When an abnormal condition continues for a set time, the PCM detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.

Monitor Execution, Sequence, Duration, DTC Type, OBD Status

Enable Conditions

Malfunction Threshold
The return signal is OFF (low) for at least 1.0 second when the PCM outputs the ON (high) signal to the rocker arm oil control solenoid B (bank 1).

Driving Pattern
Start the engine, and let it idle for at least 10 seconds.

Diagnosis Details

Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, the MIL comes on and a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data are stored in the PCM memory.

Conditions for clearing the DTC
The MIL is cleared if the malfunction does not return in three consecutive trips in which the diagnostic runs. The MIL, the Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool Clear command or by disconnecting the battery.
